Hi, I am Joanna Williams. I currently live in Nottingham, but come from Sussex by the sea. I love to travel this is where my inspiration comes from as well as everyday life. I am very interested in illustration, love to draw and search for motifs for my work and patterns everywhere. I make a range of quirky, original and often kitsch fabric bags, soft toys, greetings cards, badges and corsages made from recycled and vintage materials by hand and using my sewing machine. I have a real passion for reusing and preserving materials so this is really important to me. I also love knitting, and lately have been making knitted bow ties.

At the moment I am studying Textile Design and will specialize in print. I started making things a year ago for presents, now I create many!!
